Prizes¶

The HECKTOR 2025 Challenge will recognize the top 3 teams in each task, recognizing outstanding performance across the three main tasks, awarding a total of 9 prizes across the following categories:

🏆 Awards¶

• Best Segmentation Algorithm (Task 1): Award for the top 3 teams with the highest ranking in the lesion detection and segmentation task:

  • 🥇 1st Place: 500 €
  • 🥈 2nd Place: 300 €
  • 🥉 3rd Place: 200 €

• Best Survival Prediction Algorithm (Task 2): Award for the top 3 teams with the highest ranking in the RFS prediction task

  • 🥇 1st Place: 500 €
  • 🥈 2nd Place: 300 €
  • 🥉 3rd Place: 200 €

• Best HPV Status Prediction Algorithm (Task 3): Award for the top 3 teams with the highest ranking in the HPV status diagnosis task

  • 🥇 1st Place: 500 €
  • 🥈 2nd Place: 300 €
  • 🥉 3rd Place: 200 €

Eligibility Requirements¶

• All awards are conditioned on submitting a paper describing the detailed methodology.
• Members of the organizers' institutes may participate but are not eligible for awards.
• Teams using additional data beyond the provided HECKTOR 2025 dataset will not be eligible for prizes.

Award Distribution¶

In the event that teams achieve identical metric scores or statistical analysis reveals no significant performance differences between top-ranking teams, awards will be equitably divided among those teams.

All winners will be announced during the MICCAI 2025 conference in Daejeon, and the top-performing methods will be highlighted in the challenge overview paper.
